Senior Automation Engineer

Role Summary

• Develop test strategies, test plans, and release testing approaches.
• Analyze requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to create effective test scenarios and test cases.
• Execute Functional, Exploratory, Regression, and Risk-Based Testing activities.
• Perform API, Integration, and Data Validation Testing to ensure end-to-end business process quality.
• Identify, log, track, and retest defects using tools such as JIRA and Azure DevOps.
• Support and maintain automated test suites using Tosca or similar automation tools.
• Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and stakeholders within Agile/Scrum teams.
• Prepare test reports, quality metrics, and release-readiness updates.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and quality standards.

• 6+ years of proven experience in Software QA and Testing.
• Bachelor's degree (or higher) from a recognized institution.
• Strong experience in Manual Testing and Software Quality Assurance.
• Expertise in:
• Functional Testing

• Risk-Based Testing
• API & Integration Testing
• Data Validation Testing
• Ability to create test cases from user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Strong defect management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills.
• Experience with Tosca or comparable test automation tools.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Hands-on experience with JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar test management/defect tracking tools.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality products.

• Experience in Banking, Financial Services, Lending, or Loan IQ applications.
• Exposure to CI/CD and release management practices.
• Knowledge of enterprise application testing and quality governance.
