Senior Autocad Engineer

Role We are looking for an Intermediate CAD Technician to support the design and technical teams in producing accurate architectural and interior design drawings. The candidate should be comfortable developing working drawings with moderate supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and modify CAD drawings according to project requirements.
• Produce floor plans, elevations, sections, ceiling plans, flooring layouts, furniture layouts, and basic details.
• Develop drawings from sketches and instructions provided by senior team members.
• Assist with preparation of working and construction drawing packages.
• Incorporate design and consultant revisions accurately.
• Coordinate basic information between architectural, interior, and MEP drawings.
• Maintain correct layers, line weights, dimensions, annotations, and drawing standards.
• Carry out self-checks before submitting drawings for senior review.
• Maintain organized CAD files and drawing records.
• Work closely with Senior CAD Technicians and the CAD Coordinator to meet project deadlines.

Candidate Requirements & responsibilities

Diploma/Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, Drafting, or related discipline.

• 3-7 years of relevant CAD experience.
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Understanding of architectural/interior working drawings.
• Basic understanding of construction details and materials.
• Ability to interpret sketches and design drawings.
