Senior Associate Intellectual Property

Eshwars, Advocates | Bengaluru / Chennai

We are looking for a Senior Associate to join our IP Prosecution practice, with a focus on Trademarks, Copyright and Designs.

This is a substantive, client-facing role for someone ready to move beyond task execution and take end-to-end ownership of matters.

What you will work on:

• Indian and international trademark prosecution, including Madrid filings
• Copyright and design prosecution
• Trademark and design searches and registrability advice
• Office actions, hearings and provisional refusals
• IP audits and portfolio strategy
• Post-registration matters and IP recordals
• Client coordination and matter management
• Supervision and mentoring of junior team members

What we are looking for:

• LL.B. from a recognised law school
• 3–5 years of relevant IP prosecution experience
• Strong experience in Indian trademark, copyright and design practice
• Exposure to international trademark matters, particularly the Madrid system
• Strong drafting, research and client communication skills
• Ability to independently manage matters and supervise junior lawyers
