Opportunity

You will get the opportunity to work in the Year End Accounts team servicing CA firms & SME clients operating in the UK

Roles and Responsibilities :

Prepare and post year end journals like accrual, deferred income, amortization, reclassification & adjustment entries.
Identify Opening balance differences & post the same.
Reconcile Balance sheet control accounts, investigate issues and report / rectify the same
Detailed Variance analysis of P & L items and reporting on the same.
Preparation of working papers in accordance with the presentation requirements of the client.
Finalise Accounts ensuring that the disclosure requirements of FRS 102, 102 (1A) and 105 are complied with.
Prepare and finalise corporate tax computations and returns.
Liaising with Clients with regard to requests for information and query resolution
Should require minimal supervision to manage daily activities and be able to meet deadlines.
Should meet the productivity targets.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

Sound Knowledge of UK Companies Act, VAT, PAYE, CT and FRS.
Sound knowledge of applications like XERO, Quick-books etc
Good English communication skills
Strong problem solving skills

Qualification:

Accounting Technician / ACCA with minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role in the BPO industry. Candidates pursing these professional qualifications with relevant experience are also welcome to apply
