About this role
Job Summary
The Senior Associate - Digital Marketing & Communications will be the primary operational owner of GBL s website and digital marketing systems. The role will ensure that GBL s research, solutions, insights, and organisational story are presented through accurate, accessible, engaging, and measurable digital experiences. You will combine hands-on website management with SEO, analytics, digital campaigns, technical support for events, vendor coordination, and cross-functional project management. You will work closely with colleagues across Marketing & Communications, Growth, Research, Programmes, and Design to convert organisational priorities into effective digital journeys and audience-facing outputs. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of content, technology, design, and strategy and is equally comfortable making website updates, interpreting performance data, and coordinating specialists for more complex work.
Location: Delhi/Bangalore/Remote
Type of Engagement: Full Time
Roles and Responsibilities
Website ownership and digital experience
- Own day-to-day management of GBL s website and related digital properties.
- Maintain a website roadmap covering content updates, technical fixes, feature improvements, and strategic development.
- Manage CMS and no-code updates for blogs, case studies, reports, team profiles, landing pages, forms, and other institutional content.
- Build and maintain reusable page templates and components using Framer or comparable platforms.
- Conduct regular quality checks across desktop, tablet, and mobile experiences, including links, forms, responsiveness, interactions, and page consistency.
- Identify and prioritise bugs or technical debt; resolve issues directly where possible and coordinate developers or vendors where specialist support is required.
SEO, analytics, and digital performance
- Lead on-page SEO, including metadata, internal linking, page structure, sitemaps, indexing Hygiene, and content optimisation.
- Monitor traffic, acquisition, engagement, conversions, and priority-page performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Microsoft Clarity, Looker Studio, or comparable tools.
- Develop recurring performance reports with clear insights, recommendations, and experiments.
- Maintain UTM, attribution, and conversion-tracking practices across social media, email, paid campaigns, and partner links.
- Use performance data and user feedback to recommend improvements to content, website architecture, and digital campaigns.
Digital campaigns and content operations
- Support integrated digital campaigns across the website, social media, email, and paid channels.
- Work with content and design colleagues to adapt research, reports, and organisational updates into effective digital formats.
- Support the execution of the editorial calendar and coordinate copy, design, review, approval, scheduling, and publishing workflows for digital marketing channels.
- Build reusable campaign templates, checklists, content banks, and workflows that improve consistency and reduce last-minute production.
- Support paid-media activity on platforms such as LinkedIn Campaign Manager and Meta Business Manager, including setup, tracking, budget monitoring, and reporting.
Digital and technical support for events
- Build and maintain event landing pages or microsites, registration and waitlist forms, confirmation flows, and related website components.
- Set up tracking, integrations, and analytics for event registrations and digital campaigns.
- Coordinate with vendors or internal teams to troubleshoot forms, embeds, links, livestreams, and other technical requirements.
- Conduct pre-launch quality assurance and post-event updates or archiving for digital event assets.
Project, vendor, and systems management
- Convert broad objectives into project plans with milestones, owners, dependencies, review points, and measurable outcomes.
- Maintain accurate trackers and communicate timelines, blockers, risks, and trade-offs early.
- Brief and coordinate website, design, development, analytics, or other specialist partners as required.
- Translate internal requirements into clear scopes, acceptance criteria, and consolidated feedback; conduct final quality assurance before sign-off.
- Maintain SOPs, templates, checklists, screen-recorded walkthroughs, and onboarding resources for recurring digital tasks.
- Keep an updated register of digital tools, owners, access routes, use cases, renewal needs, and costs.

About
We design, test, and scale programs using rigorous research methods, that align worker wellbeing with business interests. We work across a worker's employment journey from unlocking female labor to closing the skill gap, improving job quality, and improving health conditions.
Businesses, because of their scale, hold immense potential to drive social change, while staying true to their principles.
However, narratives that reduce the business of business to business, as seen traditionally, foster conventional rather than innovative ways of doing business. For instance, they seclude investment in worker wellbeing programs as mere philanthropy.
And while worker wellbeing programs are plenty, they aren’t achieving the scale they should. This is because there is not enough research backing the return on investment they generate for businesses.
We are working to solve such problems. We want to break the limited notion of business and help scale impactful worker wellbeing programs, through rigorous research. Because that, we believe, is the future of business – good business.
