Senior Associate - Assurance (Qualified CA)

Role & responsibilities

• Execute assigned audit engagements in line with BDO methodology and agreed timelines.
• Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with IFRS, ensuring completeness of notes and disclosures.
• Lead audit assignments and coordinate with clients for planning, scheduling, and execution.
• Organize and participate in client meetings and maintain effective stakeholder communication.
• Identify and resolve audit and accounting issues in consultation with the engagement team and clients.
• Assist Managers and senior team members in engagement delivery, reporting, and audit closure activities.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to clients in a clear and professional manner.
• Demonstrate strong teamwork, collaboration, and effective problem-solving skills.
• Take ownership of assigned work, feedback, and continuous professional development.

Preferred candidate profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with articleship experience or relevant pre-qualification experience in Audit & Assurance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
