Senior Architect

ABOUT THE ROLE

Join us as a Senior Architect in Gurugram, Haryana, India. This is a full-time, on-site position with an expectation to join within 60 days. You will lead the design and planning for large-scale residential, museum, heritage, and commercial projects, while developing detailed plans that incorporate schedules, budgets, and resource allocation. You will be accountable for team leadership, quality assurance through site inspections, comprehensive documentation of progress, risks, and changes, and ensuring that design intent is preserved from concept through to construction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Lead the design and planning process for large-scale residential, museum, heritage building, and commercial projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and vision.
2. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to define project scope, deliverables, and timelines.
3. Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and budgets, while ensuring design milestones and deadlines are achieved.
4. Lead a multidisciplinary team of designers, architects, engineers, and other professionals by assigning tasks and providing mentorship.
5. Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including revisions, contracts, meeting minutes, status reports, timelines, billing, deliverables, budget status, and risk analysis.
6. Ensure design intent is translated into construction by reviewing documents, resolving conflicts, and conducting regular site inspections.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

1. Proven experience leading architectural projects in the residential, museum, heritage, and commercial sectors.
2. Strong ability to develop detailed project plans incorporating schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
3. Excellent team leadership and mentorship skills for multidisciplinary groups.
4. Expertise in maintaining project documentation and conducting site inspections.
5. Solid understanding of design intent preservation from concept through to construction.
6. Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, contractors, and clients.
