Senior Architect

JOB DESCRIPTION OF AN ARCHITECT
Architect Job Responsibilities
1) Reviewing and designing architectural and engineering plans.
2) Researching and maintaining knowledge of various engineering disciplines, application methods,
and materials.
3) Preparation of various plans for the project as per UDCPR.
4) Preparation of various working drawings as per UDCPR.
5) Preparation of various detailed drawing for the project.
6) Taking approval from seniors for planning & designing.
7) Providing guidance to subcontractors like plumbers and electricians, and helping them interpret
design specifications.
8) Ensuring all issues are addressed in a timely manner, and that project requirements are met.
9) Ensuring the team works together to achieve set goals and targets.
10) Acting as a mentor to new Architects and helping them fine-tune their design skills and improve
their industryknowledge.
11) Co-ordinate with structural engineer, Site engineer, civil engineer.
12) To discuss detail drawings with individual working on site for project.
13) To prepare work schedule in advance.
14) To prepare daily to do list according to work schedule.
