Senior Architect

Job description:

SXT Architects, Calicut is looking for a Senior Architect to join our growing team.

Requirements:

• Minimum 8–10 years of professional experience
• Strong expertise in premium residential, hospitality, and commercial projects (including malls and mixed-use developments)
• Excellent design, planning, and project coordination skills
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Lumion/D5 Render, and presentation using AI software
• Ability to independently manage projects from concept design through construction documentation
• Strong communication and client coordination skills

Location: Calicut, Kerala

Senior Architect – Scope of Work

• Lead projects from concept design through construction completion.
• Develop innovative architectural concepts, layouts, and design presentations.
• Prepare schematic designs, detailed architectural drawings, and construction documentation.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, landscape, and other specialist consultants.
• Review and approve drawings prepared by junior architects and draftsmen.
• Conduct client meetings, presentations, and design review sessions.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors during the construction phase.
• Attend site visits and monitor design implementation to ensure quality and compliance.
• Resolve technical and design issues during project execution.
• Ensure compliance with local building regulations, codes, and statutory approvals.
• Prepare project schedules and ensure timely delivery of design milestones.
• Mentor and guide junior architects and design team members.
• Coordinate with visualization teams for high-quality 3D renders and presentations.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining design quality and deadlines.
• Support business development by participating in client presentations and proposal preparation.

• Premium Residential Villas
• Hospitality Projects (Hotels, Resorts, Resto Cafés, Convention Centres)
• Commercial Buildings (shopping malls, Office Buildings, Mixed-Use Developments)

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) from a recognized university (Mandatory).
• Master of Architecture (March) will be an added advantage.
• Valid registration with the Council of Architecture (COA) is preferred
