About Kaizenat Technologies
Kaizenat Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is an Ansys Select Channel Partner and PTC partner based in Bangalore, delivering engineering simulation, CAE, and PLM solutions to clients across automotive, aerospace, industrial, and consumer product sectors. We help customers solve complex engineering challenges through CFD, structural, and explicit dynamics simulation, backed by strong pre- and post-sales technical support.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Application Engineer who can operate at the intersection of deep technical simulation expertise and commercial engagement. This role combines hands-on CAE proficiency (CFD, Structural, and Explicit analysis on ANSYS) with pre-sales solutioning, post-sales technical support, and team leadership responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Delivery
- Perform and guide simulations across CFD (Fluent/CFX), Structural (Mechanical/FEA), and Explicit Dynamics (LS-DYNA/AUTODYN) using ANSYS tools
- Review and validate simulation setups, results, and reports for accuracy and engineering soundness
- Troubleshoot complex simulation issues and provide technical guidance to junior engineers
Pre-Sales
- Support the sales team with technical solutioning, proof-of-concept work, and benchmark simulations for prospective clients
- Deliver technical presentations, demos, and workshops to customers
- Prepare technical proposals, scope documents, and solution architectures in response to client RFPs/RFQs
Post-Sales
- Provide ongoing technical support to existing customers, ensuring successful software adoption and simulation outcomes
- Conduct training sessions and onboarding for client engineering teams
- Act as the technical escalation point for post-implementation issues
Team & Stakeholder Management
- Lead and mentor a team of application/simulation engineers, allocating work and reviewing deliverables
- Coordinate with Ansys principal teams on technical escalations, certifications, and product updates
- Collaborate with the sales and business development teams to align technical strategy with revenue goals
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's/master’s degree in mechanical, Aerospace, Automotive Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in CAE/simulation, with hands-on expertise in at least two of the three domains — CFD, Structural Analysis, Explicit Analysis — and working knowledge of the third
- Strong proficiency in ANSYS suite (Mechanical, Fluent/CFX, LS-DYNA/AUTODYN)
- Prior experience in a pre-sales or technical consulting capacity — comfortable presenting to and engaging with customers
- Experience handling post-sales technical support and customer relationships
- Demonstrated experience leading or mentoring a technical team
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Prior experience at an Ansys channel partner, OEM, or CAE consulting firm preferred
Good to Have
- Ansys certifications
- Exposure to PLM tools (PTC/Creo, Windchill)
- Experience with automotive/aerospace crash, NVH, or thermal simulation projects
