About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Application Consultant with strong expertise in manufacturing operations, industrial automation, SCADA, and application support. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in the Oil & Gas or Food & Beverages industry, with a good understanding of manufacturing and supply chain processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical troubleshooting, analysis, and diagnosis of product, custom application, and integration issues.
• Work with customers to understand business and technical challenges and provide effective solutions.
• Support and troubleshoot applications built using AVEVA System Platform or other SCADA products.
• Replicate customer issues and identify root causes.
• Deliver appropriate workarounds and fixes for product and application issues.
• Ensure case updates and resolution timelines are aligned with SLA requirements.
• Document activities, findings, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in case-tracking tools.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation.
• Work closely with customers and internal teams to resolve complex technical issues.
• Question the status quo and recommend improvements to customer processes and solutions.
• Mentor and guide junior team members in technical and development activities.
• Collaborate effectively as part of a global technical team.
• Travel occasionally for training, onsite services, and customer events.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 5+ years of relevant experience in application consulting, technical support, industrial automation, or a related field.
• Hands-on operations and management experience in Food & Beverages or Oil & Gas.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server database development tools and languages:

• PL/SQL
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Database Administration.
• Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio.
• Knowledge of VB.NET and/or C#.
