Senior Android Kotlin Engineer

8+ years' experience with experience developing enterprise scale Android applications; Kotlin, Jetpack Compose and Java, producing clean, maintainable, and reusable code patterns; Deep knowledge of Git, GitLab, and CI/CD build pipelines, including branching, merging, and pipeline optimization.

Experience within banking or financial services.

Hands on experience working in Agile development environments.

Experience maintaining build servers and performing minor scripting.

Proven ability to write comprehensive unit and integration tests.

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Android applications.
• Build modern, responsive user interfaces using Jetpack Compose.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, QA teams, and backend developers.
• Implement secure and scalable mobile solutions for banking and financial services applications.
• Optimize application performance, stability, and user experience.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and support build automation activities.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor team members, and drive engineering best practices.

• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
• Extensive experience with Jetpack Compose for modern Android UI development.
• Strong understanding of Android SDK, Android Architecture Components, and mobile application lifecycle.
• Ability to produce clean, maintainable, reusable, and scalable code following best practices and design patterns.
• Experience implementing MVVM, Repository Pattern, Dependency Injection (Dagger/Hilt), and modular application architectures.
