Senior Android Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Android Developer with strong expertise in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose to join our mobile development team. The ideal candidate should have solid hands-on experience in modern Android development practices and the ability to contribute to high-quality, scalable applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following industry best practices.
  
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  
• Work closely with UI/UX teams to implement intuitive and responsive user interfaces.
  
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Android application development.
  
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin.
  
• Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose (mandatory).
  
• Solid understanding of Android architecture components (MVVM, LiveData, ViewModel).
  
• Experience with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and SDK integrations.
  
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development workflows.
  
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Coroutines & Flow.
  
• Knowledge of dependency injection frameworks (Hilt/Dagger).
  
• Understanding of Material Design guidelines.
  
• Exposure to Agile development environments.
