Job Role

We are looking for a Senior Android Developer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in native Android application development. The candidate should have strong expertise in Kotlin, Android architecture, API integration, testing, and application deployment.

The selected candidate will be responsible for end-to-end Android application development, ensuring high-quality code, application performance, security, and adherence to development best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin.
  
• Design and implement scalable applications using MVVM / Clean Architecture.
  
• Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, Backend Developers, and QA teams to deliver new features.
  
• Integrate REST APIs and handle networking, caching, error handling, and security.
  
• Write and maintain unit and UI tests using JUnit and Espresso.
  
• Participate in code reviews, pull requests, and technical discussions.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and improve application performance.
  
• Take ownership of code quality, application stability, and best practices.
  
• Mentor junior developers and help establish coding standards.
  
• Work effectively in Agile/Scrum development environments.
  
• Support CI/CD, application builds, deployments, and Play Store releases.
  
• Stay updated with the latest Android technologies and development practices.
  

Must-Have Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Native Android Development
  
• Strong expertise in Kotlin
  
• Good understanding of Android Architecture MVVM / Clean Architecture
  
• Strong experience with REST API integration
  
• Experience with JUnit and Espresso
  
• Knowledge of Jetpack Components such as ViewModel, Navigation, LiveData, and Room
  
• Experience with Gradle and third-party library integration
  
• Good understanding of Android application performance, security, and debugging
  
• Experience with Git, code reviews, and pull requests
  
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
  
• Ability to mentor junior developers and take technical ownership
