About this role
We are looking for a Cloud Database Administrator / Database Platform Engineer with strong experience in cloud databases, database automation, production support, and data warehousing.
Requirements:
- Administration and support of Azure SQL, SQL Server, MongoDB and Snowflake
- Strong experience in SQL, database administration, performance tuning and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience in Snowflake and Databricks.
- Database HA/DR, backup, restore, migration and upgrades.
- Develop database automation using Terraform, Python, PowerShell and Azure Automation.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitHub.
- Production support, critical incident management and 24x7/on-call support.
- Automate database processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Experience with databases such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, DB2 Sybase, Salesforce, and Teradata is an added advantage.
- Candidates must have hands-on project experience in MS SQL / SQL Server, MongoDB, Azure / Azure SQL and Terraform / IaC.
