Senior Amazon Connect Developer/Lead

Role Description The Senior Amazon Connect Developer/Lead will design, develop, and maintain Amazon Connect-based contact center solutions that align with client CX strategies. This full-time, on-site role in Hyderabad involves leading technical implementation, configuring call flows, integrating Amazon Connect with backend systems, and optimizing contact center performance. The role includes working closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, translating business needs into technical solutions, and ensuring high availability, security, and reliability of the platform. The Senior Developer/Lead will mentor team members, support deployment and troubleshooting, prepare technical documentation, and collaborate with stakeholders to continuously improve customer experience and operational efficiency.
Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Amazon Connect solution design and development, including contact flows, routing, and IVR configuration.
• Experience with AWS services commonly used with Amazon Connect (such as Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch, and IAM) and integration patterns.
• Solid skills in one or more programming/scripting languages (for example, JavaScript/Node.js, Python, or Java) for building integrations and automation.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, web services, and connecting Amazon Connect to CRM, ticketing, or other enterprise systems.
• Background in contact center technologies and CX platforms; exposure to Genesys Cloud CX or similar solutions is a strong plus.
• Ability to lead technical teams, provide guidance and code reviews, and manage end-to-end implementation projects.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills, with a focus on performance tuning and reliability.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to work with business stakeholders and explain technical concepts clearly.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent practical experience considered.
• Experience in agile development environments and familiarity with DevOps practices, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.
