Senior Air Ticketing Executive (GDS)

Purpose: Deliver accurate, cost-efficient and fast air ticketing for premium clients, with zero tolerance for fare, name or date errors.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Search, quote and issue domestic and international tickets using a GDS (Amadeus, Galileo/Travelport or Sabre)
• Build complex itineraries: multi-city, open-jaw, round-the-world, group and business or first class
• Apply fare rules correctly, including baggage, change and cancellation conditions, and advise clients on the best option
• Handle reissues, date changes, refunds, cancellations, name corrections and airline queries
• Manage group bookings, block seats and airline deadlines
• Coordinate with advisors so flights match itineraries and visa timelines
• Reconcile BSP and agency reports, and maintain accurate booking records
• Support clients during disruptions: cancellations, rebooking and missed connections

REQUIREMENTS

• 4 to 7 years in air ticketing, with at least 3 years of hands-on GDS work
• Strong command of GDS commands, fare construction, TST and PNR handling
• Working knowledge of IATA rules, ticketing deadlines, ADM prevention and refund processes
• Familiarity with BSP and airline portals
• High accuracy under time pressure; strong written communication
• English and Hindi

GOOD TO HAVE

• IATA/UFTAA or GDS certification
• Experience with corporate or luxury leisure clients
• Basic Excel for reconciliation
