Senior AI – Full Stack Engineer | Kolkata On-Site (7+ years)

About the Role Inceptial Tech is looking for a

Full Stack AI Engineer to design, develop, and industrialize Generative AI and data-driven applications. You will work across the complete technology lifecycle — from

AI prototyping and RAG development to backend engineering, frontend integration, cloud deployment, CI/CD, monitoring, and production support .

Key Responsibilities

• Build production-grade applications using

Python, Generative AI, and LLM technologies

• Design and implement

RAG solutions , including document ingestion, embeddings, semantic search, vector retrieval, and contextual response generation

• Develop

AI agents, copilots, and intelligent business assistants

• Implement prompt engineering, guardrails, evaluation, and AI response-quality monitoring
• Develop scalable REST APIs and microservices using

Python and FastAPI

• Build or integrate web applications using

React, TypeScript, JavaScript, Angular, or Vue.js

• Containerize applications using

Docker

• Develop and maintain

GitLab CI/CD pipelines

• Deploy and support applications on

Microsoft Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform

• Work with

Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure and deployment automation

• Implement monitoring, logging, observability, performance optimization, and production support
• Contribute to solution architecture, technical design, code reviews, and technical documentation

Required Technical Skills Must Have

• Strong hands-on experience with

Python

• FastAPI and REST API development
• Practical experience with

Generative AI / LLM applications

• Strong understanding of

RAG architecture

• Experience with

embeddings, semantic search, and vector databases

• Experience with

Docker, Git, and CI/CD

• Experience deploying or supporting applications on

Azure and/or GCP

• Experience developing production-grade software applications

Good to Have

• React and TypeScript
• AI Agents and

MCP

• PostgreSQL and BigQuery
• Terraform or Ansible
• AI observability and evaluation frameworks
• AI governance, security, and responsible AI
• Experience taking GenAI solutions from prototype to production

Candidate Profile

• 3–8 years of professional software development experience
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, AI, or a related discipline
• Strong Python and backend development expertise
• Demonstrable experience delivering

GenAI, RAG, AI Agent, or intelligent document-processing solutions

• Good understanding of cloud architecture, DevOps, APIs, and production deployment
• Ability to work across

AI, backend, frontend, cloud, and deployment

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical ownership skills
