Senior AI Engineer – Agentic Systems & Advanced Tool Development Role Overview We are seeking an exceptional Senior AI Engineer specializing in Agentic Systems & Advanced Tool Development to join our core engineering team. In this role, you will work directly with our founder—a world-class expert in Agentic AI—to architect, build, and benchmark production-grade autonomous ecosystems. This position goes far beyond integrating baseline commercial LLM wrappers or drafting standard prompts. You will design native multi-agent orchestration fabrics and construct robust, high-performance tools, custom plugins, and sandboxed runtimes that allow autonomous agents to systematically discover, reason, mutate, and execute tasks across complex enterprise environments. If you are passionate about moving past simple chat interfaces and building the fundamental infrastructure that drives true autonomous machine execution, this is your role.

Key Responsibilities ·

End-to-End Tool Engineering: Architect, program, and scale custom toolsets, programmatic interfaces, and semantic plugins optimized specifically for Model Function Calling and complex environment manipulation. ·

Agentic Workflow Architecture: Design and implement production-grade, stateful multi-agent systems capable of advanced planning, contextual memory routing (short/long-term), self-reflection, and dynamic error recovery. ·

Secure Execution Environments: Build and optimize sandboxed runtimes (e.g., Docker, WASM, or secure virtualization layers) allowing autonomous agents to safely execute model-generated code, run data pipelines, and parse system outputs. ·

Cognitive Optimization: Implement, adapt, and benchmark advanced reasoning architectures—including ReAct loops, Plan-and-Solve, and Tree-of-Thoughts frameworks—to maximize agent tool-selection accuracy while reducing execution latency and computational token cost. ·

Evaluation & System Guardrails: Develop rigorous simulation frameworks, regression suites, and evaluation pipelines to proactively detect and mitigate non-deterministic agent trajectories, tool argument hallucinations, infinite execution loops, and token-drain behaviors.

Technical Requirements ·

Tool Development & API Design: Deep, provable expertise in designing, building, and maintaining high-throughput, self-documenting RESTful/gRPC APIs, structured schema definitions (OpenAPI/JSON schema), and web-scraping/automation infrastructure tailored for LLM consume-and-execute loops. ·

Agentic Ecosystem Frameworks: Hands-on experience building complex, production-ready workflows with state-of-the-art frameworks like LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, LlamaIndex, or designing proprietary multi-agent orchestration layers entirely from scratch. ·

Core Software Engineering: Advanced mastery of modern asynchronous backend programming (Python or TypeScript), concurrency patterns, and modular clean-architecture codebases built for high reliability. ·

Data & Context Engineering: Strong operational experience with vector databases (e.g., Qdrant, Pinecone, Milvus), structural semantic data pipelines, long-context window optimization, and caching layers. ·

Observability & LLMOps: Deep familiarity with agent tracing, lineage tracking, and monitoring platforms (e.g., LangSmith, Phoenix, Arize, or custom OpenTelemetry logging) to debug non-deterministic agentic execution paths.
