The impact that you will be making
- Write advanced SQL and PL/SQL — complex queries, stored procedures, and transformation logic —to extract, transform, and validate planning data across ERP, data-warehouse, and platform environments.
- Build, schedule, and maintain production data pipelines in Apache Airflow, authoring DAGs, handling dependencies and backfills, and configuring monitoring and alerting for demand, inventory, and fulfilment datasets.
- Develop Python (Pandas, NumPy) for data wrangling, and automation of recurring data tasks.
- Run root-cause analysis on data-quality issues (missing master data, outliers, erroneous transactions) and build automated validation and reconciliation checks that hold from development through UAT and go-live
- Optimise query performance and batch processes for high-volume enterprise data environments.
- Diagnose order-fulfilment bottlenecks across inventory positioning and replenishment cycles, applying inventory policies such as safety stock, reorder points, and service levels.
- Support scenario and what-if analysis for supply disruptions, demand volatility, and new-product introductions.
- Build KPI dashboards (Tableau / Power BI / Excel) that give planning teams real-time visibility into demand-to-fulfillment performance.
- Translate business requirements into platform data-model specifications and interface mapping documents.
- Support solution architects in configuring demand and fulfilment modules on the IA platform.
- Execute SIT and UAT — authoring test cases, running validation cycles, logging defects, and verifying resolution.
- Serve as the analytical point of contact for client data and planning teams during implementation and post-go-live support.
- Maintain project documentation — data dictionaries, process flows, configuration logs, and lessons learned.
What Lands You In This Role

- Demand Planning / Supply Chain experience — practical knowledge of statistical forecasting, forecast accuracy measurement (WMAPE/Bias/FVA), replenishment, and inventory policies (safety stock, reorder points, service levels), ideally within S&OP / S&OE cycles.
- Hands-on experience with demand or fulfillment planning platforms such as Blue Yonder, o9 Solutions, SAP IBP, or Kinaxis.
- 3–5 years in supply-chain analytics, demand planning, or data analytics within a consulting, SaaS, or retail/CPG environment.
- Experience with enterprise data environments, ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data findings into business recommendations, and clear communication with both business and IT stakeholders.

- Exposure to ML-based demand sensing or autonomous replenishment tooling.
- Familiarity with Git and Agile delivery tools (Jira, Confluence).
- APICS (CPIM) certification or an equivalent supply-chain qualification.
- Prior experience in retail, FMCG or CPG industries.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
