Role Description The Senior Agency Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad, responsible for driving agency channel growth and achieving sales and distribution targets. Day-to-day activities include recruiting, onboarding, and mentoring insurance advisors, providing regular training and performance coaching, and ensuring adherence to company processes and regulatory guidelines. The role involves planning and executing local business development initiatives, conducting sales campaigns, and supporting advisors in customer prospecting, needs analysis, and policy recommendations. The Senior Agency Manager is expected to monitor key performance metrics, analyze market trends, and collaborate with internal teams to improve productivity, service quality, and customer satisfaction. This role requires proactive field engagement, regular review meetings, and a focus on building a high-performing, ethical, and customer-centric agency network.
Qualifications

• Strong agency management and sales leadership skills, including experience in recruiting, developing, and managing insurance advisors or similar distribution teams.
• Proficiency in business development and relationship management, with the ability to drive customer acquisition, retention, and portfolio growth in a competitive market.
• Sound understanding of life insurance products, regulatory requirements, and basic financial planning concepts, with the ability to explain solutions clearly to advisors and customers.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with strong interpersonal abilities to influence, motivate, and collaborate across diverse stakeholders.
• Data-driven approach to performance management, including comfort with using reports, sales dashboards, and market insights to make decisions and set targets.
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification or relevant professional certifications in insurance or financial services is an advantage.
• Prior experience in life insurance agency or retail financial services management, preferably in leadership roles, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales and team productivity goals.
