About this role
Minimum Qualifications:
- BE, BTech, ME, MTech, MCA, MBA, or MSc.
- 5–9 years of overall experience with strong hands-on expertise in Adobe Commerce (Magento).
- Solid experience building and customizing Magento solutions, including custom modules and storefront components.
- Strong PHP development experience with an understanding of object-oriented design and maintainable code practices.
- Experience working with Magento data structures and core commerce workflows (catalog, checkout, orders, customers). Key Responsibilities: Solution & Technical Leadership
- Lead end-to-end Adobe Commerce (Magento) solutioning: discovery, estimation, architecture, and delivery planning.
- Translate business requirements into scalable Magento implementations (catalog, checkout, promotions, pricing, customer, order management).
- Define technical standards for module development, theming, integrations, and release management. Implementation & Delivery
- Design and build custom Magento modules, plugins, observers, and APIs using PHP best practices and Magento patterns.
- Implement and optimize storefront experiences (themes, layout XML, UI components) aligned with UX and performance goals.
- Drive integrations with third-party services (payments, shipping, tax, ERP/CRM, PIM) using REST/GraphQL and secure integration patterns. Quality, Performance & Operations
- Ensure code quality through reviews, testing strategy, and adherence to Magento coding standards.
- Diagnose and resolve production issues, performance bottlenecks, and scalability concerns (caching, indexing, database, search).
- Support release cycles with environment readiness, deployment coordination, and rollback planning. Collaboration & Mentorship
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align technical decisions with business outcomes and timelines.
