Key Responsibilities Financial

Accounting & Reporting

• Preparation and finalisation of standalone and consolidated financial statements in accordance with Ind-AS.
• Oversight of accounting for ECL, EIR, amortised cost, co-lending, DA/PTC securitisation transactions and leases
• Ensuring accuracy and consistency between books of accounts, regulatory returns, lender submissions, and published financials
• Regulatory Compliance & RBI Interface
• Ensuring compliance with RBI Scale Based Regulation (SBR) requirements applicable to Middle Layer NBFCs
• Preparation and timely filing of RBI returns including DNBS, ALM, and other prescribed regulatory statements
• Coordination with statutory auditors during RBI inspections, supervisory reviews, and compliance submissions
• Closure of regulatory observations within stipulated timelines Audit & Governance
• Handling statutory, internal, ASM, concurrent and regulatory audits
• Strengthening internal financial controls (IFC), maker-checker mechanisms, audit trails, and delegation of authority
• Drafting, updating, and implementing finance SOPs in line with regulatory expectations and industry best practices Banking Operations, Fund Flows & Finance Operations
• Monitoring daily fund flows, bank balances, branch cash positions, and liquidity requirements across the organisation.
• Managing banking operations including payment processing, collection mechanisms, virtual accounts, escrow accounts, and bank reconciliations.
• Ensuring timely execution of vendor payments, statutory payments, employee reimbursements, and lender obligations as per approved workflows.
• Designing and implementing robust maker-checker controls for all banking transactions and payment approvals.
• Managing end-to-end Accounts Payable processes including vendor onboarding, invoice verification, payment scheduling, ageing analysis, and reconciliation within defined TAT

• Developing and strengthening SOPs for payment processing, fund transfers, banking operations, and finance shared services activities.
• Coordinating with banks for operational matters including account opening/closure, banking facilities, digital banking platforms, and issue resolution.
• Driving automation of payment workflows, bank reconciliations, fund flow reporting, and approval matrices through ERP and banking integrations.
• Ensuring compliance with internal delegation of authority, audit requirements, and regulatory expectations relating to fund movement and banking controls. Budgeting,

Monthly MIS & Performance Monitoring

• Ensuring Monthly MIS udpates are give before the 10th of following month.
• Preparation of annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and monthly variance analysis
• Development of management MIS and dashboards covering AUM, disbursements, asset quality, yields, and profitability • Partnering with business, risk, and operations teams to support strategic decision-making ERP, Systems, Data Governance,

Automation & AI

• Driving ERP (Microsoft Business Central) and LMS optimisation to automate accounting entries, reconciliations, regulatory returns, lender reporting, and management MIS.
• Identifying opportunities to eliminate manual processes through workflow automation, system integrations, RPA tools, and digital controls.
• Leveraging AI-enabled tools for data analysis, reconciliations, anomaly detection, financial reporting, document review, and productivity enhancement within finance operations.
• Designing automated dashboards and exception-based reporting frameworks for realtime monitoring of business and financial KPIs.
• Ensuring source-to-GL reconciliation, data governance, audit trails, and data integrity across systems.
• Collaborating with business, operations, and technology teams to implement scalable finance processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Evaluating and implementing emerging technologies and AI use cases to enhance accuracy, control, turnaround times, and scalability of finance functions. Taxation & Listed Entity Compliance
• Coordination for direct and indirect tax compliance, assessments, and auditor

interactions

• Supporting listed entity disclosures, audit committee requirements, and investorfacing

financial information

Required Skills

• Strong working knowledge of Ind-AS, RBI SBR norms, ALM, ECL frameworks
• Hands on experience with ERP (Microsoft Business Central) /LMS systems and demonstrated experience in process automation, workflow redesign, and implementation of finance transformation initiatives.

• Experience in building SOPs, maker-checker frameworks, automated approval workflows, and management dashboards.

• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
