Senior Accounts Executive

CMV Infraprojects is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accounts Executive to oversee day-to-day accounting operations, taxation compliances, and end-to-end financial finalisation. The ideal candidate must have a robust background in the hotel, restaurant, or cloud kitchen industry, with specialized expertise in managing high-volume platform reconciliations (Swiggy, Zomato, etc.) and independent Balance Sheet preparation.

Role & responsibilities 1. Core Accounting & Financial Finalisation

• Maintain day-to-day accounting transactions and ensure highly accurate bookkeeping.
• Prepare and post journal, payment, receipt, and adjustment entries.
• Perform seamless monthly and yearly account closing activities.
• Manage month-end provisions, accruals, prepaid expenses, and general ledger reconciliations.
• Assist independently in the finalization of accounts and the preparation of financial statements/Balance Sheets.

2. Food Delivery Platform & Sales Reconciliation

• Reconcile daily and monthly sales reports received from food aggregators (Swiggy and Zomato).
• Verify gross sales, customer discounts, cancellations, refunds, platform commissions, and other deductions.
• Reconcile platform settlements with bank credits and internal accounting records.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies in commissions, settlement amounts, and customer refunds.
• Track outstanding receivables and maintain platform-wise sales and settlement documentation.

3. Cash, Banking & Asset Management

• Prepare and review cash and Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS).
• Monitor all bank transactions, corporate payments, receipts, and bank charges.
• Maintain the Fixed Asset Register (FAR), calculate/record depreciation, and reconcile FAR with the General Ledger.

4. Taxation, Compliance & Audit

• Prepare data and handle timely filings for GST, TDS, and other relevant statutory compliances.
• Monitor outstanding payables/receivables and conduct regular ageing analysis.
• Assist internal and external auditors by resolving queries and ensuring timely closure of audit observations.

Preferred candidate profile

• Industry Experience: 5 to 9 years of core accounting experience strictly within the Hotel industry, restaurant chains, cloud kitchens, or food aggregators.
• Technical Skills: Proven practical experience in the independent finalization of accounts and Balance Sheet preparation.
• Analytical Skills: Strong expertise in handling complex, high-volume platform-wise reconciliations (Swiggy & Zomato data structures).
• Communication: Strong coordination skills to interface with internal teams, vendors, and auditors.
