About this role
Job Description: We are looking for a detail-oriented and skilled Accountant and some senior person to join our Canada-based KPO team. The candidate will work closely with Canadian CPAs and will be responsible for bookkeeping, compilation reports, and tax return preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform end-to-end bookkeeping in various accounting software including QuickBooks Desktop (QBD), QuickBooks Online (QBO), Xero, and Sage.
- Prepare and finalize Compilation Reports in detail using CaseWare. • Assist in the preparation and filing of HST/GST returns.
- Prepare and review corporate tax returns (T2) and related schedules.
- Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timeliness in all financial reporting.
- Work collaboratively with CPAs and clients to resolve queries and provide necessary support.
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of Canadian bookkeeping practices and tax compliance.
• Hands-on experience with QBD, QBO, Xero, Sage, and CaseWare.
• Good understanding of Compilation Engagements (Notice to Reader). • Knowledge of HST/GST and Canadian corporate tax returns.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setup and meet deadlines.
