Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant with a minimum of 3+ years of experience in the Hospital/Healthcare industry. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting, taxation, statutory compliance, financial reporting, and hospital-related financial operations. Candidates with leadership or team-handling experience will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting and financial operations of the hospital.
• Prepare and maintain accurate books of accounts, ledgers, and financial records.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports.
• Manage GST, TDS, Advance Tax, PF, ESIC, and other statutory compliance.
• Ensure timely filing of GST returns, TDS returns, and other applicable statutory returns.
• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, vendor payments, and bank reconciliations.
• Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow statements.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and support audit requirements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and financial policies.
• Handle budgeting, financial planning, and expense monitoring.
• Monitor hospital revenue, expenses, payments, and financial transactions.
• Work closely with management to provide financial insights and reports.
• Lead, guide, and support the accounts team, where applicable.
• Ensure timely completion of financial closing activities.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Minimum 3+ years of accounting experience in Hospital/Healthcare industry.
• Qualification: CA / CA Inter / M.Com in Finance.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Advance Tax, PF, ESIC, Audit, and statutory compliance.
• Experience in preparing Balance Sheet, P&L Statement, Cash Flow Statement, and MIS Reports.
• Good knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank Reconciliation, and General Ledger.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP/Tally Prime, MS Excel, and accounting software/ERP systems.
• Strong analytical and financial reporting skills.
• Leadership, team handling, or team management experience will be preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Candidates with prior experience in a Hospital, Healthcare, Medical, or Healthcare Services organization.
• Experience in managing or mentoring an accounts team is an added advantage.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple departments.
