Senior Accounts Executive

We are hiring for our esteemed client in the logistics industry.

Position: Accounts Executive

Location: Panvel

Job Responsibilities:

Statutory Compliance:

• Ensure timely calculation, preparation, and payment of statutory dues such as GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, and Professional Tax.
• File statutory returns within prescribed deadlines to ensure compliance.
• Prepare and maintain monthly statutory payment reports with payment details and compliance status.

Accounting & Reporting:

• Record day-to-day accounting transactions accurately in Tally ERP and other accounting software.
• Pass month-end and year-end adjustment entries, including accruals, provisions, and prepaid expenses.
• Perform ledger scrutiny and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in preparing MIS reports, audit schedules, and supporting documentation.

Banking & Payments:

• Process vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and statutory payments.
• Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate documentation for all banking transactions.

Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of accounting concepts, including provisions, prepaid expenses, and adjustment entries.
• Good knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance requirements.
• Experience in maintaining financial records and supporting the finalization of accounts.
• Hands-on experience with Tally ERP, MS Excel, and other accounting software.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• B.Com or any other relevant degree.
• Relevant experience in Accounts and Finance.
• Experience in statutory compliance, accounting, banking, and financial reporting will be preferred.
