Roles and Responsibilities

Candidate should be conversant with day-to-day accounting of transactions. Apart from regular accounting entries, he / she would be required to handle additional functions like operational GST/TDS compliances (payments, returns, filings), Bank Reconciliations, party account reconciliations, etc. GL Reconciliations, cleanup, audit coordination, AR/AP Process.

Additionally, the candidate should also be exposed to Import Documentation - Bills of Entries, Customs Duties, Freight and Insurance Bills, etc. He/She should also coordinate with Clearing agents and insurance firms in connection with the import shipments.

He/She will be reporting to the Accounts Manager.

Desired Candidate Profile

Candidates with good working knowledge of Accounting, MS Excel (functions, conditional formatting, pivot tables), and good knowledge of import documentation, communication skills will be considered.

Candidates with a passion to learn, who are able to absorb pressure, who aspire to make a career in accounting may consider this a good opportunity.

In case CA Articles completed, 1--2 years' experience is enough.
