About the Opportunity:
At Steer Ahead Consultants, we are looking for an experienced Semi-Qualified CA to join our team as a Senior Consultant Tax & Finance.
We are seeking a professional with strong hands-on experience in accounting, taxation, statutory compliance, and client management, preferably someone who has built their expertise in a CA firm and is keen to continue growing in the professional services domain.
Key Responsibilities & Expertise:
Accounting & Financial Reporting
* Finalisation of financial statements and accounts
Direct Taxation
* Preparation and filing of income tax returns for companies and individuals.
* Handling tax assessments, proceedings, and litigation matters.
TDS Compliance
* Monthly TDS deductions, payments, and return filings.
GST Mandatory Experience
* GST return filing, reconciliations, and related compliance.
Statutory & Regulatory Compliance
* ROC compliance and MCA-related filings.
* International remittances, including Form 15CA/15CB.
Technical Skills Required
* Proficiency in Tally ERP 9 and Tally Prime.
* Familiarity with Income Tax, TRACES, GST, VAT, and MCA portals.
* Strong MS Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and other essential functions.
* Exposure to ERP systems would be an added advantage.
Preferred candidate profile:
What Were Looking For:
* Semi-Qualified CA with 810 years of relevant experience, excluding articleship.
* Candidates with prior experience in a CA firm only.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to independently draft professional emails.
* Ability to manage clients and assignments independently.
* A proactive attitude, attention to detail, and a genuine desire to learn and grow within the CA firm environment.
