Location: Sector V, Kolkata

Salary: 25,00040,000 per month
Working Hours: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Weekly Off: Sunday

Job Summary

PSPL Steel Processors Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant with strong knowledge of accounting, balance sheet preparation, taxation, and statutory compliance. Candidates with experience in the steel, metal, or manufacturing industry will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.
• Handle direct taxation, including income tax-related matters for directors.
• Manage GST reconciliation, compliance, and return filing.
• Handle TDS reconciliation, calculations, and timely filing.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure statutory compliance.
• Operate ERP/accounting software for day-to-day accounting activities.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and internal departments as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum 56 years of relevant experience in accounting and taxation.
• Strong practical knowledge of balance sheet preparation and finalization of accounts.
• Hands-on experience in direct and indirect taxation, GST, and TDS.
• Experience in the steel, metal, or manufacturing industry is preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems is required; TCS iON experience will be an added advantage.
• Candidates with a stable employment history and a long-term commitment are preferred.
