Role Description The Senior Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and monthly closing activities. This full-time role is on-site and based in New Delhi, working closely with leadership to prepare financial statements, analyze financial performance, and support budgeting and forecasting. The Senior Accountant will oversee compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls, and will help streamline financial processes for accuracy and efficiency. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams, supporting audits, and providing financial insights that inform strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong core accounting skills, including general ledger management, financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end closing.
• Daily bookkeeping in Tally

• Monthly bank and credit card reconciliation across all entities

• Ensure GST return preparation and TDS reporting and filing.

• Advance Tax payments and coordination with CA for annual ITR filing and all annual statutory filings

• Assist in day-to-day operations including shipments, logistics coordination, inventory management, and related administrative tasks

• Export documentation such as invoices, packing lists, FIRC, e-BRC, and IGST refund tracking

• Managing all payments including salaries, rent, vendor payments, utilities etc.

• Managing US accounting such as bookkeeping, sales tax, annual filings, and CPA coordination

• Quarterly Profit & Loss & Balance Sheet reporting

• Managing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections

• Candidates should possess financial analysis and planning skills, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cost tracking.
• Candidates should possess tax and compliance skills, including knowledge of applicable regulations, statutory reporting, and audit support.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, with the ability to work with spreadsheets, reports, and financial models.
• Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and leadership.
• Relevant educational background such as a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional qualifications (e.g., CA, CPA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
• Prior experience in a senior accounting or similar finance role, ideally within luxury goods, retail, or manufacturing, is preferred.
