Senior Accountant

Role & responsibilities

• Manage daytoday accounting operations including ledger postings, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (GST, TDS, VAT, and other applicable local regulations).
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Handle payroll, tax filings, and auditready documentation.
• Supervise junior accountants and provide guidance on accounting standards.
• Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and clients.
• Implement process improvements and automation for efficiency.
• Support management with financial analysis and strategic decisionmaking.
• Handling Due date.

Preferred candidate profile

• Qualification: Graduate/Postgraduate in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• Experience: 2 to 6 years in accounting, tax compliance, and audit.
• Technical Skills:
• Advanced Excel and ERP/accounting software.
• Strong knowledge of corporate taxation, payroll, and compliance frameworks.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent communication in English.
• Analytical mindset, detailoriented, and proactive problem solver.
