Senior Accountant

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end Record to Report (R2R) activities including general ledger accounting and reconciliation processes.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of ledger accounts in compliance with applicable accounting standards and policies.
• Handle intercompany accounting activities including transactions, reconciliations, and settlements across multiple entities.
• Support financial consolidation and preparation of internal and external financial reports.
• Execute month-end close activities including manual journal entries (MJEs), account clearing, and timely closure of books.
• Perform foreign exchange (FX) revaluation and analyze currency impact on financial statements.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Use SAP for financial transactions and reporting, along with advanced Excel for analysis and reporting automation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional finance teams in a shared services or multinational environment to meet reporting deadlines.
• Maintain high accuracy and efficiency in financial processes while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Experience Required:

• 6 - 11 years of experience in accounting, finance operations, or R2R processes.
• Strong hands-on experience in Record to Report (R2R) and general ledger accounting.
• Experience in intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Exposure to month-end close activities and financial statement preparation.
• Working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Experience with FX revaluation and currency impact analysis is preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and internal controls.
• Ability to work in fast-paced shared services or multinational environments.
• Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.
