Senior Accountant

Role & responsibilities

FYNEX, a finance-as-a-service company that runs the finance function for growth-stage businesses, is hiring an Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting and compliance for a portfolio of clients.

• Maintain books of accounts for assigned clients in Tally Prime / Zoho Books, including month-end closing
• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and reconcile ITC with GSTR-2B
• Compute TDS, file quarterly TDS returns, and issue Form 16/16A
• Prepare and file Income Tax Returns with reconciliation to AIS and Form 26AS
• Perform bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations; track receivables and payables
• Prepare monthly MIS reports and support payroll processing
• Support finalisation of accounts and statutory, tax, and internal audits
• Coordinate with clients for documents and queries, and meet all compliance deadlines

Preferred candidate profile

• B.Com / M.Com; CA Inter or semi-qualified candidates preferred
• 13 years of experience in accounting and tax compliance, ideally in a CA firm or outsourced finance setup
• Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and Income Tax provisions and portal procedures
• Proficient in Tally Prime and MS Excel; exposure to Zoho Books or other cloud accounting tools is a plus
• Organised, deadline-driven, and comfortable handling multiple clients
• Good written and spoken communication in English and Hindi
• Based in or willing to work from New Delhi (in office); immediate joiners preferred
