Senior Accountant

Role & responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to support the finance and accounting activities of a metals and mining project in Sierra Leone/ West Africa.

The role will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, project cost accounting, month-end reporting, accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, budgeting support, and compliance with applicable accounting standards and local statutory requirements.

Experience working in mining, metals, construction, engineering, infrastructure, or other project-based environments, preferably in Africa or other remote/project locations will be highly preferred.
