SENIOR ACCOUNTANT - JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: Senior Accountant

Department: Finance & Accounts

Experience: 4-8 Years

Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter or equivalent

Role & responsibilities:-

1. Handle day-to-day accounting and maintain accurate books of accounts.

2. Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.

3. Handle GST, TDS and other statutory compliances.

4. Prepare and verify GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GST reconciliations.

5. Handle TDS calculation, payments, returns and reconciliation.

6. Perform bank reconciliation, ledger scrutiny and account reconciliation.

7. Prepare Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and other financial statements.

8. Handle month-end and year-end closing and finalization of accounts.

9. Coordinate with auditors, consultants, banks and other external parties.

10. Monitor outstanding receivables and payables.

11. Prepare MIS reports, expense reports and financial reports for management.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Strong knowledge of Tally Prime / Tally ERP
• Good knowledge of MS Excel
• Strong knowledge of GST and TDS
• Bank and ledger reconciliation
• Finalization of accounts
• Preparation of P&L and Balance Sheet
• MIS reporting
• Audit coordination
• Good knowledge of accounting principles
• Strong analytical and numerical skills

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Experience in Manufacturing / FMCG / Food Industry will be preferred.
• Experience handling complete accounting and taxation activities independently.
