Senior Accountant

Role & responsibilities

• Prepare annual financial statements and tax returns for SMSFs in compliance with ATO requirements.
• Reconcile bank statements, investment portfolios, contributions, pensions, and member balances.
• Manage the processing of fund transactions including purchases, sales, dividends, contributions, rollovers, and pensions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation (SIS Act, ATO rulings, Superannuation Industry guidelines).
• Liaise with auditors, clients, and internal team members to coordinate audits and respond to queries.
• Monitor and manage deadlines to ensure lodgement and compliance timelines are met.
• Maintain accurate fund documentation and workpapers.
• Stay updated with SMSF legislative and regulatory changes
