Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant Requirements: (Dubai)

• Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
• Assisting with annual audit preparations.
• Investigating and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance.
• Preparing state, local, and special tax returns.
• Contributing to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures.
• Performing other accounting duties and supporting junior staff as required or assigned.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Working knowledge of tax laws
• Strong financial analysis skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel.
• Operating billing software and day account
• Balancing the cash register and generating reports for credit and debit sales.
• Processing refunds and exchanges, resolving complaints.
• Managing accounting data of the store
• Overall monitoring of Tender reconciliation for Stores
• Coordination between Store and bank
• Proper account of Shortages and informing recovery
• Float Management
• Banking receipts / Transfers accounting and clearing
• Experience in Tally ERP 9.0.
• Knowledge accounting (Sale, Purchase, Receipts, Payments, and Journal), Accounting Entries, Accounts Payable, Receivables and Payroll
• Bank Reconciliation Statement
• UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations
