Job Description :

We are seeking a experienced Senior Accountant to oversee the complete accounting and financial operations of a steel manufacturing company in Sudan (Africa) . The candidate should have strong experience in manufacturing accounting, costing, inventory, financial reporting, and ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities :

• supervise the company's accounting and finance activities.
• Manage General Ledger, AP, AR, cash, banking, and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Control and monitor steel/raw-material inventory
• Manage product costing, variance analysis,
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, cash-flow statements, and management reports.
• Ensure accurate accounting for production, inventory, scrap, consumables, and fixed assets.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks and suppliers,
• Establish and maintain strong financial controls and accounting procedures.
• Ensure timely closing of monthly and annual accounts.

Candidate Profile :

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• 4 - 10 years of relevant experience, preferably with a steel or heavy manufacturing company.
• Excellent command of MS Excel and ERP/accounting software.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
