Senior Accountant (Indian Accounting )

Job Description:

Role Overview

The Senior Accountant will independently manage assigned clients and oversee accounting, compliance, and financial reporting activities.

Key Responsibilities

. Finalisation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
. End-to-end bookkeeping review and ledger scrutiny
. Handling of GST compliance (GSTR-1, 3B, annual returns, 2A/2B reconciliation)
. TDS calculation, payment, and quarterly filings (24Q/26Q)
. Bank reconciliation and fund monitoring
. Supervision of junior accountants
. Preparation of MIS reports and financial analysis under the guidance of the Manager
. Payroll review and statutory deductions (PF, ESI, PT - as applicable)

Required Qualifications & Skills

. M.Com / CA Inter / MBA (Finance)
. Strong expertise in GST, TDS, PF & ESI
. Proficiency in Tally
. Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Lookup functions)
. Ability to manage multiple clients independently
. Strong accuracy and deadline adherence
