Senior Accountant (Australia, India & USA)

About the Roles

Were looking for experienced Senior Accountants to join our finance team and own financial reporting, compliance, payroll and billing for their regions. Were hiring for two roles:

- Senior Accountant, Australia (Financial Reporting, Compliance, Payroll, Billing & Commercial Reporting)

- Senior Accountant, India & USA (Financial Reporting, Compliance, Payroll, Billing & Invoice Reconciliations)

Both roles are individual-contributor positions for accountants who take pride in accurate, well-controlled books and want to build real depth in a growing global consulting business. Youll report to our Head of Finance, prepare work for their review and approval, and work closely with our wider finance team and business stakeholders across Australia, India and the US.

What Youll Do: Across Both Roles

• Prepare month-end journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations for your region(s)

• Process payroll for your region(s)

• Prepare and issue client bills

• Provide back-up cover for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

• Prepare all outputs for Head of Finance review and approval

Role-Specific Responsibilities

Senior Accountant, Australia

• Month-end close for Australia: journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations

• Financial compliance activities for Australia

• Payroll processing for Australia

• Billing

• Sales commission reporting

• Contribute budget inputs

• Commercial reporting in Ruddr:

• Project and client profitability

• Utilisation

• Revenue forecasting

• Cost allocation

• Cost-per-FTE

• AP and AR back-up cover for Australia

Senior Accountant, India & USA

• Month-end close for India and USA: journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations

• Financial compliance activities for India and USA

• Payroll processing for India and USA

• Billing

• Contribute budget inputs

• Invoice and client payment reconciliation between Ruddr and Xero for India and USA clients

• AP and AR back-up cover for India and USA

What Were Looking For

• Min 8 years accounting experience, including month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations and payroll, ideally in consulting, professional services or a shared-services environment

• Qualified or part-qualified accountant (CA, CPA, CMA or equivalent) preferred

• Role-specific experience:

• Australia: Australian payroll, compliance and reporting; commercial or management reporting such as profitability, utilisation and forecasting; sales commission reporting

• India & USA: India and US compliance and payroll; invoice and receipts reconciliation

• Working knowledge of Xero, Zoho Books or QuickBooks; experience with Ruddr or a comparable PSA/time-and-billing tool is a strong plus

• Strong Excel skills

• Strong attention to detail, with comfort owning full-cycle processes and meeting close deadlines with minimal supervision

• Clear written and verbal English for working with Australia, India and US finance and business teams
