Role & responsibilities:

General Ledger & Accounting

• Manage and maintain the General Ledger ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, provisions, and adjustments.
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and internal controls.

Financial Reporting

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Prepare Management Information System (MIS) reports and financial schedule.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial closure and reporting.

Controllership

• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Monitor financial controls and ensure adherence to governance requirements.
• Assist in implementing process improvements to strengthen financial controls and reporting efficiency.
• Support internal and external audit requirements by providing required documentation and explanations.

Compliance & Stakeholder Management

• Support statutory, tax, and regulatory compliance activities.
• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and cross-functional teams.
• Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of accounting records.
• Work closely with business teams to address accounting and reporting requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of General Ledger Accounting and Financial Reporting.
• Understanding of Ind AS, Accounting Standards, and financial controls.
• Experience in month-end close and reconciliations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
