Roles and Responsibilities Security Supervisor

Organization: People’s University and People’s Hospital, Bhopal

• Supervise security guards and ensure proper deployment at all duty points.
• Prepare duty rosters and monitor staff attendance and punctuality.
• Ensure discipline, proper uniform, and professional behaviour of security staff.
• Monitor entry and exit of employees, students, patients, visitors, and vehicles.
• Ensure proper visitor registration and verification as per institutional rules.
• Conduct regular patrolling of university and hospital premises.
• Monitor CCTV cameras and report any suspicious activities or technical issues.
• Ensure the safety of patients, students, employees, visitors, and institutional property.
• Manage security arrangements during emergencies, fire incidents, and other unforeseen situations.
• Monitor parking areas and ensure clear access for ambulances and emergency vehicles.
• Maintain security registers, incident reports, duty records, and shift handover reports.
• Check the movement of materials and equipment through authorized gate passes.
• Coordinate with HR, Administration, and other departments regarding security matters.
• Conduct regular briefings and guide security guards on their duties.
• Immediately report security incidents, staff shortages, and violations to the reporting authority.
• Perform any other security-related duties assigned by the management.
