Security Officer

Role & responsibilities:

• Plant Security Management: Oversee day-to-day security operations, including gate entry/exit control, material movement monitoring, patrolling, and management of outsourced security personnel.
• Safety Compliance & Audits: Ensure strict adherence to factory safety rules, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and statutory safety regulations across the plant.
• Surveillance & Asset Protection: Monitor CCTV surveillance systems, prevent pilferage, and manage visitor and vehicle management systems efficiently.
• Statutory Documentation: Maintain compliance records, registers, safety audit logs, and reports required by statutory authorities.

Preferred candidate profile:

• Education: Graduation or Higher Secondary (10+2) with relevant security training/certification. Ex-servicemen (Army/Navy/Air Force/Paramilitary) or candidates with industrial security background will be given preference.
• Experience: 3 to 6 years of experience in industrial security, manufacturing plant surveillance, or gate management.
• Skills: Strong vigilance, crisis handling abilities, basic computer literacy (MS Office/CCTV software), and good communication skills.
