Security Guard

Job Description:

The Security Guard is responsible for protecting the showroom, customers, employees, jeweler/stock, cash, equipment, and company property. The role involves monitoring entry and exit, preventing unauthorized access, observing CCTV, conducting security checks, responding to emergencies, and reporting incidents to management.

Role & responsibilities

To ensure a safe, secure, and controlled environment for customers, employees, jewellery/stock, and showroom property throughout the duty period.

• Maintain security and safety of the showroom premises.
• Monitor customer, employee, vendor, and visitor entry and exit.
• Prevent unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Monitor jewellery, stock rooms, cash areas, and other sensitive locations.
• Monitor CCTV and immediately report suspicious activities.
• Conduct regular security rounds inside and outside the showroom.
• Verify authorized movement of jeweler, materials, and company property.
• Assist with showroom opening and closing security procedures.
• Maintain visitor, incident, and security registers, Monitor parking and surrounding areas.
• Respond promptly to theft attempts, fire alarms, accidents, and other emergencies.
• Report security incidents immediately to the Store Manager/Security Supervisor.
• Follow all showroom security policies, SOPs, and instructions.
• Maintain professional, polite, alert, and disciplined behaviour at all times.
