Security Engineer (Cisco)

We are hiring for the

Cisco Secure Workload Engineer (L2/L3) role for or project with a

global MNC client . This is a

12-month extendable contract and a

fully remote opportunity open to candidates across

PAN India . The Role - As a Cisco Secure Workload (formerly Tetration) Engineer, you will be responsible for deploying, configuring, and supporting Cisco Secure Workload across enterprise environments. You will implement and manage Zero Trust and micro-segmentation policies, perform application dependency mapping and workload analysis, troubleshoot platform, agent, and policy-related issues, and integrate the solution with Cisco security products, SIEM platforms, and cloud environments. You will also support security incidents, compliance initiatives, platform upgrades, and create technical documentation and implementation guides. For L3 professionals, the role will additionally involve solution design, architecture, automation, integrations, and providing technical leadership. The Ideal Candidate - The ideal candidate has

5–10 years of experience in network and security engineering with hands-on expertise in

Cisco Secure Workload (Tetration) ,

Zero Trust Architecture , and

micro-segmentation . You should have strong knowledge of TCP/IP, firewalls, routing and switching, along with experience administering Linux and Windows servers. Exposure to VMware, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure or GCP, and SIEM tools such as Splunk or Microsoft Sentinel is highly desirable. Basic Python or API scripting skills are an advantage. Candidates holding

CCNP Security , Cisco Security certifications,

Security+ , or
