Security AND Performance TEST Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Security and Performance Test Engineer to ensure the Linkfields platform meets security and scalability requirements through penetration testing, vulnerability assessment and load/performance testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct security testing including OWASP Top 10 assessments, penetration testing and vulnerability scanning.
• Perform load, stress and soak testing using JMeter, Gatling or k6.
• Identify performance bottlenecks across APIs, microservices and AWS infrastructure.
• Work with the Solution Architect and DevOps team on remediation of findings.
• Establish and maintain security and performance testing strategy and benchmarks.
• Support compliance and security audit activities.

Core Technologies

• 6+ years of experience in security and/or performance testing.
• Hands-on experience with security testing tools and OWASP methodology.
• Experience with JMeter, Gatling or k6 for performance/load testing.
• Working understanding of AWS security services including IAM, Cognito and WAF.
• Scripting skills in Python or Java.

Nice to Have

• Security certifications such as CEH, OSCP or CompTIA Security+.
• Telecom or enterprise compliance experience.
• Experience with SAST/DAST tools (SonarQube, Checkmarx or Veracode).
