Security and Compliance Executive

About the Role

TYASuite is looking for a Security Documentation & Compliance Executive to maintain security documentation and coordinate security updates and changes across its products and internal processes. You will work with engineering and management teams to keep security policies, records, and customer-facing documents accurate and current.

Role & responsibilities

- Create and maintain information security policies, procedures, checklists, and process documents.

- Document security controls covering application access, customer data protection, cloud infrastructure, backups, and incident management.

- Maintain a security change register recording change details, owners, approvals, implementation dates, and verification evidence.

- Coordinate with technical teams to track security patches, vulnerability fixes, and configuration changes through completion.

- Update security documentation following product releases, infrastructure changes, and process updates.

- Manage document versions, access permissions, review schedules, and approval records.

- Prepare responses to customer security questionnaires and support security assessments.

- Collect and organize evidence for audits and compliance reviews.

- Maintain security incident records, corrective actions, and remediation trackers.

- Report pending actions, overdue security updates, and documentation gaps to management.

*This role is responsible for documentation, coordination, and change tracking. Technical implementation and final approvals remain with the designated engineering or security owners.*

Required Skills & Experience

- 1-2 years of experience in security documentation, information security compliance, IT audit support, or a related role.

- Basic understanding of access controls, data protection, vulnerability management, and change management.

- Strong written communication, documentation, and coordination skills.

- Experience maintaining policies, audit evidence, and action trackers.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.

- Attention to detail and responsible handling of confidential information.

### Preferred Qualifications

- Familiarity with ISO 27001 or SOC 2 requirements.

- Exposure to SaaS products, AWS environments, or customer security assessments.

- Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
