Security Analyst II

Role & responsibilities

Experience: 3-5 years of overall experience. 3+ years of relevant experience.

• 35 years of relevant experience in Identity & Access Management, Directory Services, or Identity Operations.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Active Directory.
• Hands-on experience administering and troubleshooting Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
• Working knowledge and practical experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ and/or Identity Security Cloud (IdentityNow).
• Working knowledge of identity concepts such as:
• Authentication and authorization
• SSO
• MFA
• SAML, OAuth and OpenID Connect
• Identity lifecycle management
• Access governance
• Ability to write and troubleshoot small automation scripts using PowerShell and/or Python.
• Basic understanding of AWS and Microsoft Azure, including the ability to support Identity infrastructure and services running in cloud environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to independently investigate operational issues.

Preferred candidate profile

SailPoint is the preferred primary skill.

SailPoint rarely operates in isolation.

Strong SailPoint candidates should have exposure to: 

• Active Directory integrations
• Entra ID integrations
• Okta
• Salesforce
• Databases
• Identity provisioning/deprovisioning processes

Even if SailPoint is the primary expertise, candidates should understand:

Account provisioning

Deprovisioning

Joiner/Mover/Leaver processes

System integrations

Attribute write-back processes

Basic understanding of these areas is mandatory.
