Security Advisor

What Youll Do:

• Experience SOC2 & Compliance Management: Drive the SOC2 Type 2 Audit preparation and execution; actively gather, analyze, and remediate gap reports for designated SOC2 controls.
• Framework Implementation: Develop, implement, and maintain scalable security frameworks and organizational policies aligned with industry benchmarks.
• Audit Coordination: Coordinate and respond to comprehensive security audits, external assessments, and vulnerability scans to ensure continuous compliance and risk mitigation.
• Stakeholder Interfacing: Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients, vendors, and regulators to address complex security concerns and guarantee alignment on requirements.
• Strategic Advisory: Provide expert advice on security best practices, risk management strategies, and control validation across the organization.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal engineering and IT teams to design, embed, and deploy secure architecture solutions.
• Reporting & Metrics: Prepare detailed, high-resolution documentation on security findings, control efficacy, and recommendations for executive leadership

What You Know:

• Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience in Secruity .
• Experience Compliance Expertise: Deep, hands-on experience managing SOC2 Type 2 controls, control mapping, and evidence collection. Robust knowledge of auxiliary frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS benchmarks is highly preferred.
• Cloud & Infrastructure Architecture: Strong knowledge of cloud security, specifically AWS environments, alongside experience managing security controls for on-premises legacy systems.
• Certifications: Highly desirable professional certifications include CISSP, CISM, or CISA.
• Professional Attributes: Standout analytical, problem-solving, and precise professional communication skills suitable for regulator and client-facing engagement

Education:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science .
